Stopped for a beer during our bike ride today. The remodeling is great! The bathrooms are sparkling clean and so nice (yes - I looked at both!) Heidi our bar tender was very personable too! Can’t wait until they get the rotating food trucks. Definitely will return.

We got there last night (on a Monday) not long before close. The bartender and door guy were both great. Busy but friendly. And we both enjoyed the beer we picked off the tap list. chill peoples hanging out talking playing shuffleboard and pool ( pool table was only a $1 too!) So yeah. Good service, good beer, good prices, good atmosphere. Great vibe.

The Leucadian is the kind of dive bar you rarely find anymore — and that’s what makes it great. It’s laid-back, unpretentious, and full of character. The drinks are strong, the music is solid, and the regulars and bartenders make you feel right at home. Whether you're catching a game, playing pool, or just hanging out with friends, it’s always a good time. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a true local vibe in Encinitas.

The Leucadian is a gem of a local bar. Recently renovated, the space feels fresh and inviting while still maintaining its classic dive bar charm. The outdoor patio they added is fantastic. One of the best features is how dog-friendly the bar is—many cute dogs to pet with friendly owners. The bartenders deserve a special shoutout for their attentiveness and friendly vibes. Drinks are also very reasonably priced. Overall, The Leucadian is a must-visit if you’re in the area. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, it’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back for more! A true Encinitas staple.

My favorite bar in Encinitas! The back patio is great for sitting around a fire watching a game with friends. Dog friendly, great tap list, a couple pool tables, shuffleboard, darts. All around just a perfect neighborhood bar.

Great place, happy hour goid, nice bartender. And, omg food truck outside bbq was awesome! We had best ribs, tri tip and pulled pork I've had in San Diego!
